Dear Carnwath,

41

Hotel Richemond,

Geneve.

Friday, 5th November, 1937.

Just one point on the medical mission to China.

Rajchman is having great difficulty in making up an English

team.

He has got two teams together a French and a

mixed Swiss - Goodman has the names and "qualities".

The idea is to form a base starting off point

and base for stores and supplies at Hong Kong.

I just wondered if there were any political

repercussions in using hong Kong rather than a point on

Chinese territory, e.g., Canton.

It might perhaps be well to inform the F.0. and

the C.0. and get their views

to the League.

possibly their approval

Yours ever,

(Sgd.) M.T. Morgan.
